90 Seconds of Truth, part 1

Last week, Matthias Roberts and I put out a call for people to send in their stories of finding God in their queerness and how being queer people of faith shaped them for the better. This was in response to Bethel Church’s Changed Movement, a snazzy new ex-gay ministry with exquisite branding with the deadly theology to match.

To all our Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings who feel like you have to change to be loved by God, know that it doesn’t have to be this way. Listen to these stories and know we are here, we are praying for you, and we love you more than you could ever know. We long to see you free, happy, and whole again, your beautiful queer identity included.
